SchemaDemon downloads
Graph Explorer
Chrome extension
See any page's JSON-LD as an interactive, draggable graph. Filter by @type, inspect nodes, export PNG/SVG.
How to install (about 30 seconds)
This isn't in the Chrome Web Store (yet), so you install it by hand. Chrome allows this through Developer mode. It's a normal, supported feature, not a hack.
- Unzip the download. Put the unzipped folder somewhere it can stay. If you delete the folder, the extension goes with it.
- Open
chrome://extensionsin a new tab.
Websites can't link to Chrome's settings pages, so paste it into the address bar. - Turn on Developer mode (toggle in the top-right corner).
- Click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder (the one with
manifest.jsoninside). - Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar and pin SchemaDemon. A pink
{}badge means the page has JSON-LD. Click the icon to open the graph.
What to expect
- "Read and change all your data on all websites." Chrome shows this for any extension that can look at page content. SchemaDemon uses it to read the
<script type="application/ld+json">blocks on the page, and that's all it reads. - Nothing leaves your browser. No analytics, no tracking, no remote servers. The only outbound links are the Google Rich Results and Schema.org validator buttons, and they only open when you click them.
- Chrome may occasionally show a "Disable developer mode extensions" popup. That's Chrome being careful with anything outside the store. Click Keep, or close it.
- To update, download the new zip, replace the folder, and hit the reload icon on the extension's card.
